What to expect
For threading, hair should be at least a few millimetres long for the thread to grip cleanly — if you've just shaved the area, wait for some regrowth first. The technician works in short, controlled pulls, checking shape against your natural brow line rather than a fixed template.
For waxing, we use wax suited to the area and your skin's sensitivity, applying and removing it in sections. Hair should be roughly 6mm (about a grain of rice) long for the wax to grip properly — too short and it won't remove cleanly, too long and it can be more uncomfortable than necessary.
How to choose
For eyebrows and facial hair, threading is almost always the better choice for shape control. For arms, legs and larger body areas, waxing is more time-efficient and lasts longer — 3-4 weeks is typical before regrowth needs attention again.
Aftercare basics
Skin is more sensitive right after threading or waxing. Avoid direct sun, hot showers, saunas, and tight clothing over the area for 24 hours, and skip perfumed lotions or deodorant on freshly waxed underarms. Mild redness is normal and usually settles within a few hours; a cold compress helps if needed.
